The school district's educational philosophy of small learning communities is reinforced with this project's architectural solution. It consists of smaller classrooms wings with an "academy" arrangement to develop an optimum environment conducive to learning.
This project stimulates community use of the facilities with a very open and welcoming campus. Its "open air" amphitheater and main plaza, provides access to the major public functions: theater, administration and gymnasium. Its state of the art 1,000 seat theater represents a more traditional architecture by its use of bowed aluminum roofs and big overhangs reminiscent of old florida.
